Jason Derulo Dancing Again After Neck Fracture
Jason Derulo is bouncing back from a near-life threatening injury that forced him to put his European tour on hold this year.
The R&B singer returned to the spotlight on Tuesday night’s episode of “American Idol,” delivering a high-energy performance of his appropriately-titled new song “Undefeated.”
Derulo didn’t seem to hold back on his dance moves, which were the cause of the neck-breaking injury he suffered in January. P.S. his girl friend Jordin Sparks sat front  row to show love for her baby…
The singer landed on his head while practicing an acrobatic trick for his tour.
Doctors later determined he had fractured one of his vertebrae and said he was very lucky he didn’t wind up paralyzed.

Watch : Nicki Minaj’s “Starships” Video
Nicki Minaj debuted her latest music video “Starships” on Thursday night (April 26) which was filmed on sandy beaches in Hawaii. Minaj who is 29 premiered her latest creation on MTV. The “Starships” track is from Minaj’s sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which debuted in the top spot on the iTunes and Billboard charts.
Nicki told radio host Ryan Seacrest about the track:
“There was so much love surrounding the making of the song, because RedOne is just so sweet to work with, he just sent me that one day, and he said, ‘Hey, I got something for you!’ I was like, ‘You got to be kidding me, right?’ I went to the studio and started writing … scratch that … I didn’t even write the first verse! That was just me mumbling and just saying the first thing that came to my head, and we recorded it, because I just felt like: ‘Let’s go to the beach … let’s go get away.’ It was just so good. It feels good!”

Did You Know : “American Idol’s” 11th Season Starts Tonight
 The search for America’s eleventh “Idol” gets under way tonight. Is it me or have they been really lack this year with promo for the show cause I had know Idea the show was coming on TV. Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler return for the two-night premiere of “American Idol” to sift through the countless hopefuls who tried out last fall. The new season of the hit Fox show starts in Savannah, Georgia, but “Idol” also held auditions in St. Louis, Portland, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Denver, Houston and East Rutherford, New Jersey. The first of eight “American Idol” audition episodes is scheduled to air tonight from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Eastern on Fox. The premiere continues with a one-hour episode starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday and a special broadcast on Sunday, January 22nd after the NFC Championship Game. Ryan Seacrest Buys VH1 Soul?
Ryan Seacrest, radio personality and host of American Idol, is interested in purchasing VH1 Soul network. The creator of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” has decided to snap up one of the only music channels that still plays only music. With it being pulled out of a number of major markets, the network looks to be in peril. The plan is to purchase the network and rebrand it, but not the same way Oprah purchased Discovery Health and turned it into the OWN Network, Seacrest saying, “It will not be branded with my name or my face, which many people will be happy about.”
Once the plan goes through, will the channel still play Jill Scott and Dwele? Ain’t nothing like neo-soul at 3 in the morning…
