T.I. has landed a spot in Hawaii, or more specifically, “Hawaii Five-0.” TVLine reports the rapper has been booked to guest-star in an episode of the CBS tropical cop drama in October. READ MORE

T.I. gave us a sneak peek of his video last week, but on Thursday 08/17 he released the official video as reported by the Examiner. The artist who likes to incorporate his life with storylines had snippets of scenes that appeared to be part of his past.

Taking fans back to when he was growing up and living in the hood, the familiar elements like the paperboy, the pool and his actions are seen. However, as the portions of life are put together, it appears that the rapper finds his way and over time had morphed into a superstar with a nice house, car and had dinner with friends.

I recently got the opportunity to photograph/attend one of the biggest celebrity kids fashion shows in Atlanta. Lil Scrappy, Erica, Mamma Dee and daughter Emani looked like the picture perfect family as they stopped to pose for the camera.

Rapper Lil’ Scrappy, his “Mamma Dee”, his rumored fiancee Erica Dixon, and their daughter Emani,7, were in attendance at the 2012 Runway Red: Safari Wonderland celebrity kids fashion show this past Saturday( August 11th) held at the Zoo.

The annual Runway RED fashion extravaganza benefits Show Me the Way Foundation’s efforts on HIV/AIDs research and awareness.

Proceeds from the show fund the SHE and HOLLA Back programs of the Show Me the Way Foundation, which educate youth infected or affected with HIV/AIDs on the disease and the importance of abstinence.

Last night ladies and gentlemen I have to say I was quite impressed with the very tatlented Nicki Minaj after she sheared the stage for more than have the night with some of Atlanta’s top musicians.

Nicki gave honor to all the people who helped her when she first movied to the ATL  and got her career popping, The singer honored people like singer and my homie Monica praising her, and thanking her for giving her someone to look up to…

This had to be one of the best concert’s I have ever gone too … P.S. She said she will be back!!! Next time with Gucci !!! Much much love… The good fokes over at the AJC got all the play by play  details and I got the photos…

“AJC” Reports:

“Instead of being called the “Pink Friday” tour, Nicki Minaj’s triumphant return to Atlanta Sunday night could have been dubbed “The Tour Stop Featuring Every Atlanta Rapper Except Ludacris…And Even A Couple of R&B Stars.”

The first chunk of her joyful 100-minute show at the Fox Theatre breezed along from the insanely catchy “Beez in the Trap” (with openers 2 Chainz) to Big Sean’s raw club thumper “Dance” to “Right By My Side,” a straight-up power ballad that proves Minaj knows her way around a melody as well as a rhyme.

But then the parade started. Quietly, at first, with a quick appearance by Young Jeezy, who rattled off “Supa Freak” to a sold-out crowd already amped by Minaj’s can’t-turn-away stage presence.

Then, halfway through the concert, Minaj started to talk about a vocalist who influenced her from her earliest days of singing in her bedroom and out strolled Monica to deliver “Why I Love You So Much” (she sounded great except on those extremely over modulated long-held notes).Minaj had barely returned to the stage when Bobby V slid out from the wings, leading Minaj to state, “I’m gonna go change,” and scurry offstage for her fifth or sixth costume swap while Bobby crooned “Slow Down.”

When Minaj returned in a straight black wig, pink tights over black hot pants and a cute cap, she had barely launched into her mixtape medley, told the crowd how Atlanta is one of her second homes and gave a shout out to Gucci Mane for all of his help with her career when another guest was added to the list – Waka Flocka Flame.

Shaking his dreadlocks, the muscular rapper sent the crowd into another frenzy with “Round of Applause” and astutely noted to Minaj, “We’ve come a long way from roaches to Rolexes.” READ MORE

T.I. is not short on material for his upcoming album. The rapper recently told DJ Sense of Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 that he has 125 songs in the can for “Trouble Man,” the title of his eighth studio album. T.I. says he’s just sitting on the material right now. “Trouble Man” is due to be released on September 4th. That’s the day after the second season premiere of his VH1 reality series “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.” Do you remember 3 years ago when I attended T.I.unforgettable performance at club Crucial in Atlanta. After doing his Farewell Tour.

The club was jammed packed full of people that came to show their love. T.I. talked to the crowd to let everyone know “no matter how much people might hate on him he will always keep his head up cause he’s the King B-Tch” … And he wouldn’t say it if he didn’t mean it”. Next thing I know Tip was talking about how people need to forgive and let things go don’t hold on to anything, and then Shawty Lo walked out on to the stage and extended his hand to the rapper. Both men embraced and shook hands as the audience was like what the hell… LOL
