Jada Pinkett Smith Speaks Out Against Human Trafficking : Spotted In LA With Willow
Hollywood actress Jada Pinkett Smith is keeping the horrors of human trafficking top of mind in Congress. Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday, Pinkett Smith urged lawmakers to do more to combat the problem of child slavery on these and foreign shores. The actress says she was compelled to speak out from research information compiled by her daughter.
Pinkett Smith’s daughter Willow and husband, Hollywood star Will Smith, were also at Tuesday’s hearing. Jada and Willow was spotted returning to their hotel after going to dinner together in LA.
The homies over at Concreteloop reports 11 year-old Willow Smith spoke with Yahoo about her fashions and her ‘haters’. She said: “I send love and positive energy to all those people in their lives. Willow Smith enjoys a day out with her mom Jada on Wednesday (May 16) in Cannes, France.
Willow was in Paris with her family, where dad Will Smith promoted his latest movie, Men in Black 3.
Willow and Jada recently participated in a video discussion titled “Red Table Talks†along with Jada‘s mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones.
“For people to be able to sit down together and have a conversation, that’s the power of love. Love is what sometimes holds us and binds us when we’re not so happy,†Jada shared. “My belief is that communication is the best way to create strong relationships.

Red Table Talk is a web series that encourages and allow families to participate in once-closed discussions, sensitive topics, and general conversation. The video open with Wicked Evolution, which is Jada’s rock band, playing in the background.
