Kristan Berona of Sandi Alessi the Casting Company that was under fire for the casting score sheet for the ladies auditioning for ‘Straight Outta Compton took to Facebook late last week to apologize for the “offensive language to recruit women”

Kristan Berona of Sandi Alessi released the following apology for the unfortunate casting call sheet released last week for ladies auditioning for ‘Straight Outta Compton‘,
“My intention was not to offend anyone and I’m so deeply sorry for not realizing the insensitivity in its content. I’m truly so sorry.”
Universal Pictures, the studio behind the film, also released a statement about the casting call via The Hollywood Reporter, separating themselves from Sandi Alessi.
“Universal Pictures and the filmmakers for Straight Outta Compton did not approve and do not condone the information in this casting notice. We regret and sincerely apologize for being in any way associated with the offensive descriptions it contained.”
The film, which is reportedly set to hit theaters next August 15, 2015 which will feature Ice Cube‘s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. who will play his father.
