Whitney Houston’s Death To Be Ruled An Accident

Sources are telling E! News that Whitney Houston’s death will be officially ruled an accident. The source says “nothing suspicious” has been discovered during the investigation to connect anyone to the pop icon’s passing. The cause of death has been temporarily listed as “deferred” on Houston’s death certificate while officials wait for the results of toxicology tests. Beverly Hills Police will reportedly have the results of the toxicology tests by next week, and the case could be closed soon after. The source adds that Houston’s family has always felt her death was an accident, and not caused by Whitney or anyone else.

While authorities continue to investigate the singer’s death, they aren’t concerned with the leaked photos of her hotel room. Lieutenant Mark Rosen says no members of Houston’s family have spoken to them about any “death scene photos.” Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11th. She was laid to rest on February 18th in New Jersey. Whitney was 48.
