There is nothing like a Braxton sister moment! Toni, Tamar, Traci, Towanda and Trina linked up and took it back — way back — performing “Night Time Is The Right Time,” the Ray Charles classic made famous by that unforgettable Cosby Show episode, and FreddyO has the exclusive video of the ladies in action.
Everybody remembers the Huxtables performing this song, and the Braxtons clearly grew up on it too. Watching the sisters fall into harmony around each other is a reminder of where it all started for them — singing together long before the solo careers, the Grammys and Braxton Family Values made them household names. When these five get together around a song, the blend is automatic. That’s not practice, that’s blood.
And let’s be honest, seeing all of the sisters laughing and singing together is exactly what the fans have been wanting. This season of Braxton Family Values has put the family through it, with the sisters working through years of tension in front of the cameras. Moments like this prove the bond is still there underneath it all. When the music starts, the Braxton sisters are one voice.
With Toni still riding the wave of her “Sex & Cigarettes” album and Tamar shutting down stages with her own live show, the ladies are busier than ever these days. But it’s the sister moments like this one that will always hit different. Sang, ladies!
