Lil Baby can not even go to the mall in peace — and Atlanta would not have it any other way.
FreddyO was on the scene at Lenox Mall as the rap superstar pulled up for an event with Pure Atlanta, and the moment he stepped out, it was pandemonium. Fans swarmed, phones went up, and the screaming could probably be heard all the way down Peachtree.
The 4PF boss came bearing gifts, handing out T-shirts to the crowd — but things quickly went left when everybody decided they needed one. What started as a generous giveaway turned into a full-on frenzy, with fans pushing and shoving to get their hands on a piece of Lil Baby history.
And honestly, can you blame them? Closing out 2019, Lil Baby is one of the hottest rappers on the planet. After the Grammy-nominated “Drip Too Hard” with Gunna and a string of chart smashes including his latest single “Woah,” the Atlanta native is gearing up to drop his sophomore album My Turn in the new year — and the whole industry is watching.
From Young Thug’s birthday bashes to headlining concerts with 21 Savage and the City Girls, the ATL rap scene is having a moment — and Lil Baby is leading the charge. Watch the madness unfold above.
