Ludacris gave ONE Musicfest a huge surprise when he brought out Fergie. It was her first performance in seven years, and the Atlanta crowd went wild.
Luda closed out the second night of ONE Musicfest at Piedmont Park on Sunday, October 26, with a set celebrating 25 years since his debut album, Back for the First Time. And he turned it into a full Atlanta homecoming.
He opened with Jermaine Dupri for “Welcome to Atlanta,” then kept the guests coming. Shawnna came out for “What’s Your Fantasy,” Jeezy turned it up, and Usher joined him for “Yeah.” LL Cool J, Jadakiss and Chingy also hit the stage.
But Fergie was the moment nobody saw coming. She flew in from Los Angeles to perform “Glamorous” and “London Bridge,” and it was her first time on a stage in years. Her last big performance was singing “Glamorous” at the 2018 MTV VMAs. Luda and Fergie first teamed up on “Glamorous” back in 2007, and they still have that chemistry.
Even with rain, wind and cold weather that weekend, the crowd stayed for every second of it.

Why ONE Musicfest Matters
ONE Musicfest has grown into one of the biggest celebrations of Black music in the country, bringing hip-hop, R&B and soul legends together with new artists every fall in Atlanta. Sets like Luda’s show why: it is a festival where the city’s history and its future share the same stage.
Ludacris and Fergie go back to “Glamorous,” the 2007 hit that topped the charts, so bringing her out made the moment even sweeter. For fans who grew up on those records, it was a once-in-a-lifetime surprise.
