Lyfe Jennings is officially a restaurant owner. The R&B singer opened the doors to The Threshold, his new upscale dining experience in Stockbridge, with a grand opening celebration — a “Hollywood Halloween” night — that brought Atlanta’s entertainment crowd out on Friday, October 31.
And this is no celebrity name slapped on a building. Lyfe designed The Threshold around how he wants people to feel: guests are greeted with ginger tea when they arrive, the tables are handmade and imported from Italy, and the whole room is built for grown folks — date nights, celebrations, and good company. The kitchen leans upscale, with dishes like lobster and salmon leading the menu, and the experience matters just as much as what’s on the plate.
The opening-night red carpet welcomed some familiar faces: R&B singer Jaheim, Lyfe’s cousin; his mother, Sandra Temple; Baby Blue of Pretty Ricky; Amber Reign from Tyler Perry’s “Beauty in Black”; professional basketball player Mike Rosario; and VIP guest Amber Adams. Streetz 94.5 came through and brought the energy. The night was curated and produced by Alexia Adams Rosario of Lex Enterprises, with public relations by Jelisa Raquel and the Media Girls Network.
The Threshold is one piece of a bigger run for Lyfe — he also recently filmed “The Big Desk,” his own live-music show. From timeless R&B records to real estate, television production, and now hospitality, he is building a legacy rooted in ownership.
The Threshold is officially open at 1850 Hudson Bridge Road in Stockbridge, GA 30281. Follow @thethresholdatl and experience it for yourself.
