Prayers up. Marcel Johnson — the husband, father and fighter the internet came to know as @celnoshell — has lost his long battle with cancer. His wife Taylor (@cellytaughtme) shared the heartbreaking news this morning: on November 2, 2026, at 4:45 PM, Marcel took his final rest. ‘I lost a whole entire half of me,’ she wrote. ‘He fought so hard for so long.’
And fought he did. In August 2025, doctors gave Marcel one year. He answered with 24 rounds of chemotherapy, trips across the country to City of Hope in California, and a smile that never left his face — all while he and Taylor kept building their family business, Lil Daddy’s Cheesecakes in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, and raising their boys. The couple married three years ago and renewed their vows in the desert this past March — in sickness and in health, for real.
His friend Kenny Berbick, who met Marcel during treatment — ‘one of the hardest chapters of our lives’ — posted this moving tribute:
