Tracee Ellis Ross carried the celebration for her travel series from the awards stage to a Los Cabos getaway.
Social posts from the trip show Ross enjoying the resort area after her October 29 birthday, including food, relaxation and time on the water. PEOPLE reported that she had recently celebrated the Emmy win alongside Issa Rae.

The celebration followed the October 30 Daytime Emmy Awards, where Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross was named Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program. The award recognizes Ross as host and as a central creative force behind the travel series.

Season 2 arrived on the Roku Channel on July 20. Roku said the season followed Ross to Northern Thailand, Melbourne and Gstaad, among other destinations. The season’s renewal had been announced in 2025, so it should not be confused with a new third-season announcement.
Together, the Emmy announcement and birthday trip photos show the star publicly marking a milestone after a second season built around exploration and independent travel.
