On Wednesday of last week Chuck Smith did an exclusive interview with Gossip Extra …. Unlike the other blogs we here at “FREDDYO.com” are here to tell the full story. What the editor of he exclusive interview seemed to not mention was “Chuck Smith’s admittance that all the wild crazy things he did as a young “Millionaire” Football Star are all the reasons he chose to  “LEAVE THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD and life of being A PLAYER”  to settle down, get married and have a family. “Making a  360 degree turn, marrying my wife, coming home to her and my beautiful children; as a 15+ retired VET still enjoying Football as a career and working with these talented young athletes is like the dream that hasn’t ended”. My relationships with my business partners and life as a consultant/coach? Man! Words can’t express”. One day I looked around and  saw everyone around me that was living that fast life were loosing their homes and money and loosing their minds, just spiraling out of control.” “I knew this was not the future I wanted for myself” , claims Chuck Smith.

My appearance on the Real Housewives of Atlanta with my friend Nene Leakes and those old conversations about how crazy and wild me and my young NFL Millionaire friends were back then have brought back a lot of memories that were truly suppressed. I guess I’m truly learning the power of the new Digital World of media and how things can get out of control before you know it. “Right now I am looking forward to the Senior Bowl next week and receiving one of the biggest awards of my life next month.” “My family and my real life of coaching and consulting is truly my reality.”states Chuck Smith.

Nene Leakes and Chuck Smith have been friends since their Athens teenage days which is how his wife ended up being seen with Nene Leakes hanging out on the show. Chuck Smith is now a MASTER teacher of the “Pass Rush”helping some of the TOP Athletes in the game (not just rookies). Chuck has 3 beautiful children, a beautiful wife and one of the most gorgeous estates I have ever seen (and yes his wife Mynique is on the deed) SMH! and a career he can be proud of.

It’s crazy how Reality TV can stir up the past and bring it to life in people’s mind as the present. One thing the BIG HOMIE FreddyO can say about Chuck Smith is that he is a “family man”. Mynique I hope you can start training me so a brotha can be right for the summer.

Oh and FYI…. For the record Chuck Smith is not interested in attacking any women for what happened in their past when they were all teens and young adults finding their way. The Gossip Extra article included “Ugly Duckling” in the title  (referring to Phaedra Parks) and we all know how conversations are not “quoted in full” FreddyO too has been a victim of this. Just to set the record straight, when asked about Phaedra Parks ‘Smith says he stated Phaedra Parks to be an ugly duckling in 6th grade….WHOM transformed when she spread her wings as she got older.” stated Smith. End of quote. But this statement was talking about more than outward beauty and done more from a teenage mindset thinking of her in 6th grade with the pigtails 6th grade girls back then had (in Smith’s mind when the statement was made)

The quote was also left out that “Coming from a small town like Athens, Smith is very proud of the levels of success that RHOA Leakes and Parks have attained for themselves in their adult life as not only business women, but wives and mothers.”stated Smith. But of course – “WE Bloggers” and I have been guilty of this too. We like to print the juicy stuff and leave out the mush sometimes.
