Do you text and drive? Nearly 500,000 people are injured and 6,000 are killed each year because drivers are talking, texting and e-mailing behind the wheel. Texting and driving is the new drunk driving.
Recently, Oprah Winfrey launched a new campaign “No phone zone” to end distracted driving. Distracted driving is an epidemic that is sweeping through our country, claiming lives and destroying families. While Oprah brings awareness on a national level, The Ryan Cameron Foundation (RCF) brought awareness in the Metro Atlanta area. Ryan Cameron believes helping people right here in his back yard.

On March 6, 2010 at Clark Atlanta RCF held an event (sponsored by the Allstate Foundation) to enlightened Georgians about this epidemic. He donated over $30, 000 in prizes. Over 400 people took part in this worthy event. Everyone is so swift to report about celebrities but they forget that the TRUE CELEBRITIES are the ones who give back to their communities.
