Drake and Chris Brown Sued After Fight in NY Club

It seems that everyone in the music business eventually has to pick someone to have beef with, but sometime these situations get a little out of hand. Just when we thought the Chris Brown and Drake club drama had died down, they both were slapped with a lawsuit. On  Wednesday, as reported by thejasminebrand, the company that owns the trademark for Greenhouse, Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., sued both Brown and Drake for the infamous bottle throw down that ensued inside of the the New York club.

The lawsuit claims that neither of the artists did anything to stop the fight that broke out, even if they weren’t directly involved. The suit also suggests that the fight slandered the nightclub’s name. Entertainment Enterprises feels that the two of them encouraged, instigated or at least failed to control their entourages to prevent things from escalating as far as they did during the June 14 incident. Lawyer Andrew T. Miltenberg said,

“It’s their posse, and they’re in charge, and to the extent that they could have controlled or dissipated whatever was going on, we don’t believe they did.”

The lawsuit also claims that from the publicity of the fight they lost a $4 million deal to license Greenhouse’s name to other clubs across the company.
