Other people groups though didn't really move on and continued to have the same lifestyle, just in a better environment.
One major reason for this has been the lack of animals that can be domesticated and thus highly useful for the people. It can easily be noticed that in the areas where there were numerous species of animals suitable for domestication and were highly useful, the people were progressing, engaged in farming, and started to have a sedentary lifestyle. On the other hand, in the areas where such animals were lacking, the majority of the people groups remained hunter-gatherers until much later in history.
