Police are investigating his death as a suicide, although they did not find any signs of a suicide note at the scene. Seau was 43 years old. He spent 20 seasons in the NFL and owned two restaurants in Southern California. Seau also ran a non-profit organization and was known for his philanthropy. Seau’s mother was very emotional at a press conference following her son’s death. His sister asked the media to respect the family’s privacy as they deal with the tragedy.
