Ja Rule fresh out of prison appeared on a food related radio show which led to rumors of the homie writing a prison cookbook and now the homie might have a book deal.

Ja Rule says the book publisher Harper Collins reached out to him about his rumored prison food cookbook.  In an interview with TMZ, the rapper says Harper Collins is currently working him on a memoir and hoped to also publish a cookbook by the rapper.  The big homie had to explain to the eager publishing company that the microwavable prison food cookbook was a joke that has taken a life of its own.  The joke started after the big homie appeared on a food related radio show with chefs Geoffrey Zakarian and Guy Fieri.

I think it’s a good look. The homies in jail and prison need a little love too. What better way to give back than to share his prison culinary skills. This can also help the microwaving chefs of the world.
