The “Nellyville” star lost his grandmother recently. And in an Instagram post, the rapper-turned-reality star gushed about his granny’s strength and how she helped shaped him into the man he is today.
Today around 6am I lost One of the strongest women to ever grace this planet my granny was A LADY in every sense of the word..R.I.P GRANNY… .. My strength is with my father and his two sisters for they have endured so much in the past 10 to12months ..!! #HAYNESFAMILY …..
In lighter news, it’s pretty obvious that Nelly’s new relationship with Shantel Jackson is completely different from his former one with singer Ashanti. For one, Nelly and Shantel are always seen together, taking pictures, sharing their romance on social media and they even keep it super cute for the cameras on their reality TV series “Nellyville.” So when 2015 finally rolled in, we just knew that Nelly would be ringing in the new year with his new lady and we were so right.
