Atlanta Blogger Tami recently held her 2nd Blogger’s Luncheon. Reality star/business woman and my homie Toya Wright was in the building to talk about her latest best selling book, her boutique in New Orleans(Garb) and her new clothing line Adorn that will hit select Walmart stores by Christmas.
Toya spoke about her brand, family,bloggers being negative towards her, personal style and more! Everything was going fabulous until I asked her about fellow reality star from Love & Hip Hop ATL, K-Michelle!
All hell broke loose and Toya went all the way in!
Toya said,
“I’m glad you brought that up because she(K-Michelle) went on the Breakfast Club radio show running her mouth and talking about me and my husband! I want her to keep my name out of her mouth!â€
Chile…chit got real! She then went on to say, “hell a lot of people abused her! Where is the proof that my husband beat on her? Where is the police reports that my husband threatened her son? I need some proof! “If anyone knows my husband they have nice things to say about him, says Toya. Even his ex-girlfriends never came forward to say he was abusive!â€
The producer of Love & Hip Hop ATL, Mona Scott asked Memphitz to come on the reunion show to defend himself with the accusations on what K-Michelle said about him, but they turned it down. Toya said, “K-Michelle needs to find her own story line and stop trying to stay relevant by gaining ratings from usâ€. “You know she is bonafide schizophrenic too! She doesn’t even have custody of her sonâ€. Ok, I’m on the ground!
Toya said,up till this point, she has NEVER said anything about K-Michelle but she is getting sick and tired of her bringing up her name and wants her to focus on her music career. Toya said she is a talented singer and she needs to promote that on the show and not make it about her relationship. I agree, K-Michelle,you have a great platform, use it for your music and keep it moving! I hope they hash it out but if she keeps bad mouthing the Wrights, I see a gag order coming soon! #epicfail. Who to believe…
The thing about this situation is that if you recall & watch the episode in which K Michelle explained a situation in which she was beat. She never once mentioned Memphitz’s name. He was the one who FIRST went out w/ a tweet (while on his happy vacation for his 1st wedding anniversary) stating he had interesting tv to watch when he got back. Not saying, that him & Toya aren’t happily married, but if I were on my vacay (happily) the last thing being on my mind would be to tweet about something (that you’re saying isn’t true). There’s always two sides to a story, so I commend Toya for defending her husband (as a wife, stand by your man), but on another note, she really doesn’t know what happened b/c all men lie!!! ( & some change) What’s done in the dark always come to light, so if K Michelle is lieing, she will have to stand for that and if Memphitz is lieing, he will have to stand for that, & if it is true oh well we all are humans and make mistakes.
I’m totally with CNVtV..who to believe. It really doesn’t matter to me who got their as* whipped on, but the three adults (K. Michelle, Toya & Memphitz) need to take in to account that they’re all adults and all of the tweeting and saying things about each other is so immature. You all have kids, and I’m sure they read the things that are being said. As for Toya, I do believe she’s a mentor or something (regardless some people look up to her, ummmm ok, but anywho), so watch what you tweet, b/c as a parent, I wouldn’t want my child to look up to anyone that’s acting so immaturely on twitter and other blog sites. Just remember, God does not like ugly, so you all need to recognize that anything you have acquired can be gone today or tomorrow. It’s all materialistic things which have no value b/c you can’t take it w/ you, but the hurtful, hateful and maybe even wrong words said or mentioned will still live on afterwards.

I’VE LEARNED IN LIFE MEN ARE DIFFERENT WITH DIFFERENT WOMAN AND THATS THE TRUTH! I WOULD NEVER DEFEND A MY MAN WITH REGARD TO HIS EX, HE CAN DEFEND HIMSELF AND BASED ON HIS CHILDISH REMARKS TOWARD K.MICHELLE I BELIEVE K.MICHELLE! JUST BECAUSE SOMEBODY HAD PAST ISSUES OR DEPRESSION DOESNT MAKE THEM A MARK FOR ANY MAN TO HIT THEM! SHUT UP TOYA…KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR FRESH ‘A’ DAUGHTER!
I absolutely believe K Michelle, who would lie about getting their ass beat. Do ya’ll remember when Tiny first seen Memphis with Toya (on one episode of Toya’s Family Affair) the look she gave him said it all.
I believe K Michelle, first off Memphiz (or however you spell it) is no Jay Z, P Diddy, or Russell Simmons. Who really heard of him before he started dating Toya? Toya needs to keep her mouth closed because she wasn’t there period. And further more if Toya didn’t have a child by lil wayne nobody would be checking for her either!!!! Sweetie everyone has a past and it is filled with skeletons or squeaky clean, the industry is a dirty business the way women are treated, disrespected, made to promote a certain image to sell records. Don’t go grand standing like you’ve known this man since he was first born. I just want to know the answer to one thing, I heard a rumor when Toya and Memphiz got married that Toyas brother Walter wasn’t at her wedding because of the “rumors” going around wayyy back when that he was a woman beater… Now the truth with that never came to light!! I can’t see no other reason for her older brother to not be at the most important day of her life unless there was a problem… Toya do yourself a favor and keep YOUR image clean, you are looking so foolish right now because you don’t know what really happened, you are only where you are because of who you had a baby for and that doesn’t make you any better than nobody else, bottom line!!
and also Toya watch what you say to “defend” your husband because just like… HMMMM… said what you have today that you have built for yourself can be gone tomorrow, if K Michelle wanted to be a bitch she could sue your ass for those comments when you don’t have proof. Yes,Toya has every right to defend herself and her husband,but at the end of the day, why would K.michelle make up this story? She is some-what of a celebrity herself and honestly her being her regular self on the show is entertaining enough,she really wouldn’t have to bash them unless it was the truth…..I dont care what anyone say, when k.michelle tells her story, you feel the pain and the truth of it. Maybe it happened years ago and she’s just getting to the point where she can speak her voice,but she’s hurting and to heal she has to release all those feelings.I’m so team K.michelle,i pray that God heals her broken heart and allow her to move on to a happy life.
K. Michelle never had mention memphitz and people change like if he didnt hit her than why he didnt go on the show to verify it?
