Sneakers with straps were a huge success this year thanks to Kanye West. Nike took the strapped approach with the Blazer High and this is the result. My homie G-Roc from TheShoeGame.com and his staff hosted their 3 Year Anniversary event at the Nike Store Lenox Square Mall. The event was crazy and packed with sneakerheads from Atlanta. People also came to support TheShoeGame.com from New York, Alabama, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Tennessee, and South Carolina. TSG definitely did it B-I-G, and you would think throwing an event at the Nike Store was enough, but NO, they gave away so much stuff. They gave away 2 pairs of Space Jam Air Jordans, 3 pairs of Gucci SB Dunks, 2 NikeiD sessions, LeBron 7’s, and a bunch of t-shirts.

DJ Greg Street was the official DJ for the night and Air Force 1 guru, Mayor was the special guest. Rosco Dash performed his hit “All The Way Turnt Up”, and up and coming ATL trap rapper, Pill also hit up the event to show love. All in all, it’s no doubt that TheShoeGame.com has a massive following. The event will most likely go down in sneaker history for them being able to get the Nike Store to throw their party, and with all the giveaways.

For the past few years Nike has been teaming up with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for a limited edition sneaker collection. TheShoeGame.com reports that this year’s Doernbecher shoes just released this past Saturday, November 14th. If you didn’t see these at Foot Locker this weekend you’re not crazy, the Doernbecher shoes was only released at Nike Towns, Nike.com, and Nike Stores in the United States only.

There is six sneakers in the 2009 collection; 3 for women and 3 for men. The best part about this collection is all six shoes were designed by kids. Profits from the collection helps raise money for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The shoes are now available on Nike.com and Nike Towns. Go out and buy one of the shoes, it’s for a good cause.

TheShoeGame.com reports that Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM’s massive sneaker collection will hit eBay soon for charity. Some of you may or may not know that AM passed in August of this year. He also use to date Nicole Richie, but that’s old news.

To help raise money for the DJ AM Memorial Fund, AM’s sneaker collection of over 800 limited edition sneakers will be auctioned off on eBay. The auctions start this Sunday, November 15th and ends on December 14th. That’s a lot of money right there, but for a good cause.

The good folks over at TheShoeGame.com reported on the unveiling of the 25th Anniversary Air Jordan, better known as the Air Jordan 2010. According to TSG, Jordan Brand held the media event in Miami yesterday. All the famous Nike/Jordan designers were in the building as well as Michael Jordan & Dwyane Wade. Mike & D.Wade are holding the AJ2010 in the picture above. Jordan Brand celebrates their 25th Anniversary next year, and the new Jordan will be available February 13th for $170.
