The hackers who have hacked over 10 big time celebs and political heads is not just in it for the recognition. Law enforcement states that the hackers are actually using the information that they found for credit purposes. See details inside.
TMZ reports, the financial information of 12 political and Hollywood figures has been hacked. The information is being used but not sure the extent of the usage as of now. The hackers have obtained all of these public figures personal banking information and social security numbers. The FBI has come forth and will be investigating the situation. One of those affected was the FBI Director, Robert Mueller. Allegedly the FBI knew about the hackers before the information was released and they stated, ”The investigation did NOT start yesterday.”
A website, has released information on the First Lady Michelle Obama and this is an alarming breach of security. Her credit report was posted and it revealed her social security number, phone numbers, banking and mortgage info and credit card details. The hackers wrote under her information, ”Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle.” Others involved were Beyonce, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Donald Trump, Joe Biden and Kim Kardashian. The FBI indeed did yesterday officially confirm an investigation.
