Every now and then, I catch a performance that makes the whole room go quiet. This was one of those moments. She took on “It Makes Me Happy” and delivered it with so much feeling that I had to keep my camera rolling.

Atlanta is full of talented singers who have not gotten their big break yet. Some of the best voices in the city can be found at open mics, karaoke nights and small venues, singing for the love of it.
