Arby’s just dropped new steak nuggets, so I had to put them to the test. Here’s my honest first reaction.

Arby’s rolled out Steak Nuggets nationwide on October 6, 2025, for a limited time. The Atlanta-area-based chain tested them in a few cities back in May, and they were such a hit that Arby’s brought them to every location.
The nuggets are bite-sized pieces of steak that are seared, smoked and seasoned with garlic and pepper. You can get them three ways: as a 5-piece or 9-piece order with hickory BBQ sauce for dipping; in the Steak Nugget Sandwich with Havarti cheese, crispy onions and pickles on a toasted bun; or in the Steak Nugget Bowl, served on top of white cheddar mac and cheese with crispy onions.
Arby’s pitched them as an easy way to eat steak on the go, no knife needed. Some early reviewers felt the middle could be a little dry, but said they work well in the sandwich or bowl. Watch my reaction to see where I landed.

An Atlanta Brand Trying Something New
Arby’s is based in the Atlanta area, so it is always fun to see what the hometown chain comes up with next. The brand has built its name on roast beef, curly fries and its “We Have the Meats” slogan, and steak nuggets are a bold move into a menu space usually filled with chicken.
Limited-time items come and go fast, so if you want to try them, do not wait too long. Watch my reaction to see if they are worth the trip.
