Invest Fest 2026 wrapped its record-breaking weekend at the Georgia World Congress Center on Sunday, August 9, and FreddyO was there to catch it. Keith Lee, Master P and Angela Simmons were among the faces in the building.
The Earn Your Leisure conference, founded by Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings, pulled more than 30,000 people over three days, the biggest turnout in the event’s six-year run.
The pitch competition
Master P and Angela Simmons sat on the judges’ panel for this year’s pitch competition alongside cybersecurity entrepreneur Dr. Paul Judge and La La Anthony. When it was over, two startups, Groundwork Health and Path Intelligence, each walked away with $125,000, for $250,000 in total seed money.

Food critic and creator Keith Lee, whose restaurant reviews have turned small, family-owned spots into overnight hits, was one of the weekend’s featured speakers.
The bigger picture
The conference closed out with plans already in motion for 2027. After the weekend, Bilal pushed back on critics who questioned the event’s future, calling Invest Fest a business and investing conference on the level of Davos or Milken and saying it has already proven it can sustain itself.
