BMI executive Catherine Brewton brought Atlanta together for her SoulFull Sunday Gospel Brunch, a fundraiser for her foundation, Hope For Harvest. FreddyO was there with the cameras, and these are the best moments from a day of giving, gospel and good people.
About Hope For Harvest
Catherine’s mother, Pastor Barbara Brewton, founded Community Outreach Christian Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina, and through that ministry she helped feed more than 100,000 families. After her mother passed in 2007, Catherine founded Hope For Harvest to carry that work forward, keep The Harvest Center going, and give young people a safe place to learn, grow and feel supported.
The brunch brought in support for that mission. Catherine is also Vice President, Creative at BMI in Atlanta, where she has championed songwriters for decades, and her community came out strong for the cause.
The Brunch
The SoulFull Sunday Gospel Brunch took place Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Atlanta, hosted by Jason Lee. Supporters filled the room, including Kirk Franklin, Tyler Perry and T.I., all there to stand with Catherine and the foundation. Kirk led the room in worship, and before it was over he had Tyler Perry singing right alongside him.
