It’s official: an entire generation is growing up. By the end of 2026, millennials will have completely aged out of their 20s.

According to the Pew Research Center’s definition, millennials were born between 1981 and 1996 — which means the youngest members of the generation turn 30 this year, while the oldest turn 45.
The milestone marks a real generational shift. The group that was once the face of youth culture is now deep into careers, marriage, parenthood, homeownership and everything that comes with real adulthood.
And as millennials settle into their 30s and 40s, Gen Z has officially taken over as the generation filling up the 20s.
Millennials, how y’all feeling about this one? Sound off in the comments!
