My Way” Beauty Pop – Up Suite in New Orleans during the Essence Music Festival. Over 1200 women convened over the weekend to experience African Pride’s entire family of hair care brands to include; Dream Kids, Olive Miracle Collection and to celebrate the official launch of the all new Shea Butter Miracle Collection at the luxurious Wyndham Riverfront Hotel on Friday, July 6th- Sunday, July 8th.
 Guests received an exclusive hospitality experience with complimentary hair and make-up services by Salon Miquelle and The Look by Joi Cosmetics, live hair demonstrations by Dr. Kari Williams of Mahogany Hair Revolution, signature “My Pride Cocktails” and a chance to win a 1 year supply of African Pride hair care products. The African Pride Beauty Suite featured special celebrity appearances by Shaunie O’Neal (Vh1′s Basketball Wives), actress Tasha Smith (TBS’ For Better of Worse), Cynthia Bailey (BRAVO’s Real Housewives of Atlanta), recording artist VaShawn Mitchell (EMI Gospel), Goo Goo (WE TV’s Mary Mary), Marianne Jean-Baptiste (CBS’ Without a Trace), Q Parker (R&B Artist/112) and gospel comedian Akintunde.
