The GWOAT is coming for the music game too! Claressa Shields gave Atlanta an early listen to her upcoming album at an intimate listening party with Rolling Out — nine songs deep — and let me tell you, the champ can rap AND sing.
You could feel the positivity, the love, and a little ratchetness mixed in! What stood out most was how much she loves making music. Hearing her talk about spending days in the studio perfecting her craft made me respect her grind even more. She’s putting in the work, trying new things, and giving herself room to grow — and with several features on this project, I can’t wait for everybody to hear it.
Shout out to the moderators who helped bring the conversation to life — The Jamison Agency, Carrie Michelle, Rocki the Mogul and Klassymo — and to Papoose, who was right there supporting his lady. Congratulations, champ — the music world better get ready!
