Atlanta’s own Ciara pulled up to V-103 to sit down with the one and only Greg Street, and you already know the city was tuned in. The Princess of Crunk & B is in full promo mode for her brand-new album, and FreddyO has the video of CiCi chopping it up on the Greg Street Show — laughing, talking music, and giving Atlanta the love right back. When a hometown star comes home, it just hits different.
Ciara has a lot to talk about right now. Her third album, “Fantasy Ride,” is about to hit stores, and “Love Sex Magic” with Justin Timberlake is burning up the charts and the clubs — that video alone has everybody talking. On Greg Street’s show, CiCi opens up about the new music, the work she put into this album, and what it means to represent Atlanta everywhere she goes. Greg Street has been breaking records in this city forever, so when he gives an artist his stamp, Atlanta listens.
What we love most is how relaxed and real Ciara is in this interview. This is the same Ciara who made a wish come true for a young fan, who will get on the lanes and bowl with her people — a superstar who never acts too big for her city. From “Goodies” to “1, 2 Step” to this new Fantasy Ride era, she keeps evolving, and Atlanta keeps riding for her because she never forgot where she came from.
Press play and enjoy CiCi in her element — home in Atlanta, on the radio the whole city trusts, with a new album on the way. Fantasy Ride season is officially here, and we are here for all of it.
