If you don’t know by now, Kandi Burruss is way more than a reality TV star. The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Xscape diva and the newest peach on The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been putting in work in this industry for years, and she is showing no signs of slowing down. Check out Kandi live on stage performing “Try It Out” alongside Atlanta’s own Big Bank Black.
The chemistry is undeniable as Kandi and Big Bank Black feed off the crowd’s energy, pairing that smooth R&B vocal with the street-certified flavor that only the A can deliver. It is the perfect example of what happens when Atlanta’s music scene comes together — the singers, the rappers and the fans all in one room, keeping the city front and center where it belongs.
Kandi is everywhere right now — from penning hits for other artists to stepping out on her own, building her TAGS boutiques and letting the Bravo cameras into her world. Watching her work a live stage is a reminder that before the television shows and the business moves, the music has always been her foundation, and she makes it look easy every single time she grabs a microphone.
Big Bank Black holds his own right beside her, proving exactly why his name stays ringing through the streets of Atlanta. Two hometown talents, one stage, and a performance the crowd will not soon forget.
