Atlanta, get ready — DTLR was turned all the way up as Mindless Behavior and Diggy Simmons took over! The teen heartthrobs pulled up on the city and the young fans showed up and showed out, screaming, dancing and singing every word like it was a full concert instead of a store takeover. Mindless Behavior — Prodigy, Princeton, Ray Ray and Roc Royal — are running teen music right now. With “My Girl” and “Mrs. Right” in heavy rotation, the boys have the girls losing their minds everywhere they go, and Atlanta was no different. Their energy is crazy, their choreography is on point, and you can tell they love their fans just as much as their fans love them. These young stars are gearing up to drop their debut album, and if this crowd was any indication, it is about to be a problem.
And then there is Diggy Simmons. Yes, that Diggy — son of the legendary Rev Run of Run-DMC and nephew of Russell Simmons — but do not get it twisted, Diggy is carving out his own lane. The Atlanta crowd rocked with him as he showed why everybody is talking about his flow, his style and his star power. From his mixtapes to his deal with Atlantic Records, Diggy is proving he is not just hip-hop royalty, he is the future of hip-hop.
