Get your praise on! Gospel powerhouse Le’Andria Johnson just blessed the stage with a brand new song, ‘Change Is Now,’ and FreddyO has the live performance you have to see to believe. From the very first note, Le’Andria sings like a woman on a mission, pouring her whole testimony into the music. When she opens her mouth, church shows up wherever she is standing, and this performance is proof.
Le’Andria has been a force since she won BET’s Sunday Best in 2010 and took home a Grammy for her debut, and her journey has never been anything but real. That honesty is exactly why fans connect with her so deeply. Her brand new album Bigger Than Me just arrived this month, and ‘Change Is Now’ carries that same spirit: whatever you have been through, your change is not coming someday, it is available right now. The runs, the growls, the whispers, the full-throated praise breaks, it is all here.
Atlanta knows and loves Le’Andria, from her time on Preachers of Atlanta to stages all over the city, and she never leaves without giving the people a word and a worship moment to take home with them. In the gallery below, check her out performing another new favorite, ‘Bigger Than Me,’ and watch Kandi Burruss ask her to sing Happy Birthday like only Le’Andria can. Real singing, real anointing, no shortcuts.
Salute to Le’Andria Johnson for keeping gospel music honest, soulful and powerful. If ‘Change Is Now’ is any indication, this new chapter of her ministry is about to bless a whole lot of people. Press play, let it minister to you, and tell us in the comments how this song spoke to you today.
