This is why the internet loves Drake.
A clip from the 6 God’s stream went viral on October 12 (shoutout to RapTV for sharing it), and it is pure comedy. A fan tipped Drake a whopping 20 cents during the stream — and instead of getting offended or ignoring it, Drake played it all the way up for laughs.
Seated poolside at night in a white baseball jersey, Drake sincerely thanked the fan for the tip and joked that the money would go to a good cause. The self-deprecating moment from one of the biggest stars on the planet had the internet crying laughing.
It is moments like this that remind you why Drake stays winning. A 20-cent tip could have been awkward. Instead, he turned it into one of the funniest viral clips of the week.
Whether you love his music or just love the memes, you have to respect a superstar who can laugh at himself like this. Most celebrities would have ignored that tip completely. Drake turned it into a moment.
The clip has been making the rounds all over social media, with fans flooding the comments with laughing emojis and praise for how humble and hilarious he was about the whole thing. Honestly? It might be the most relatable thing a superstar of his size has done all year.
Never change, Drake. Never change.
