For metro Atlanta residents struggling to cover rent, utilities or groceries, United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 211 service can help identify local organizations that may offer support.
The service connects people with trained navigators who provide referrals based on their location and needs. Resources can include food assistance, housing services and agencies that help with household bills.
Residents can call 211 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern. They can also text their ZIP code and a description of what they need to 898211. Standard message and data rates may apply.
211 provides information and referrals. Each organization determines eligibility, and financial assistance depends on available funding.
