The new music queue has room for Christmas songs and an R&B throwback this week.
Epic Records released the 14-track Epic Presents: Holiday Radio on October 30, bringing together GIVĒON, Mariah the Scientist, Coi Leray, Lucky Daye, UMI, and other artists for a mix of seasonal standards and newer material.
GIVĒON takes on The First Noel, Mariah the Scientist performs Please Come Home for Christmas, and UMI delivers This Christmas. Coi Leray teams with Lucky Daye on Milk N Cookies.
Atlanta listeners also have a local connection on the track list: Jawan, Keri Hilson, and Breskii appear together on X-Mas in the A.
On the same release date, Mariah Carey celebrated Glitter’s 25th anniversary with an expanded digital deluxe edition and the album’s return to vinyl through Def Jam Records and UMe.

The anniversary edition adds 15 tracks, including rare or previously unreleased material, new remixes, and collaborations with Channel Tres and Rochelle Jordan. A restored 4K version of the David LaChapelle-directed Loverboy video accompanies the celebration.
These are two different listening experiences arriving together: an ensemble holiday project and a revisit to Carey’s 2001 catalog. The Glitter release is separate from her already-covered annual Christmas kickoff.
FreddyO’s take: Start with the new holiday collaborations, then revisit the voices and sounds that helped shape the R&B playlist. There is enough here to build a listening session beyond one familiar seasonal hit.
