FreddyO took Granny over to Mr. Everything Cafe here in Atlanta, and from the first bite she was sold — plate after plate, bite after bite, she just kept going. Mr. Everything Cafe is an Atlanta staple, the kind of spot the whole city swears by. Sitting over by the Atlanta University Center, it has fed students, families, celebrities and everybody in between, with big portions, seasoned plates and a menu full of soul food favorites. It is not fancy, and it does not have to be — the food does all the talking.
The real star of this video, though, is Granny. Her reactions say more than any review ever could: the head nod, reaching back for another bite, that look that says she needs to know who is back there cooking.
