Young love took center stage on the BET Awards red carpet. YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter stepped out together in Los Angeles for culture’s biggest night, and FreddyO caught the couple as they worked the carpet — smiling for the cameras, turning heads, and giving everybody one of the most talked-about arrivals of the evening.
Lucci is in the middle of a serious run. Everyday We Lit turned the Atlanta rapper into a household name, his album Ray Ray From Summerhill landed this spring, and the whole Think It’s a Game movement is moving with him. So seeing him on this carpet, on this stage, makes sense — this is exactly where his momentum is supposed to put him, and he carried it like he belongs here.
And Reginae is coming into her own right in front of us. Lil Wayne’s daughter has grown up in the spotlight, but 2018 Reginae is stepping out as her own star — red carpets, TV cameras, and a whole generation of young fans watching her every move. Together, these two are easily one of the young couples the culture cannot stop watching, and BET Awards weekend gave them the perfect stage to prove it.
