Don’t expect to see Jamie Foxx sitting across from Shannon Sharpe anytime soon. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx said he’s not planning to go on Club Shay Shay.
His reason? Foxx said guests on these kinds of YouTube shows seem to end up in trouble, and that if you don’t say something wild, it’s hard to beat the algorithm. He pointed to how Katt Williams’ explosive episode became one of the show’s biggest moments.
Foxx was promoting his new comedy special, Take Care of Yourself, which premiered October 7 on Hulu and Disney+. Shannon Sharpe hasn’t responded publicly.
