JT Shut Down Atlanta Pride 2026 as Piedmont Park Packed Out for ‘Louder & Prouder’ Weekend

Atlanta, y’all showed up and showed OUT! Atlanta Pride took over Piedmont Park on October 10–11, and the city came together for a free weekend built around this year’s theme, “Louder & Prouder.” With more than 350,000 people expected, this was not just a festival — it was a full-on celebration of love, joy, and community right in the heart of Atlanta, and everybody who pulled up could feel that energy from the moment they walked into the park.

The weekend did not go exactly as planned, and we have to keep it real about that. Saturday’s programming was disrupted by weather from Hurricane Isaias, the same storm our neighbors across the Southeast have been dealing with. But Pride organizers made sure Saturday Premium Pass holders were taken care of — those passes were honored on Sunday, so nobody who invested in that experience was left out when the celebration came back strong.

And come back strong it did! Sunday roared back in the biggest way, starting with the parade at noon from the Civic Center MARTA Station. We are talking about 300 groups and 5,000 marchers moving through Atlanta while around 100,000 spectators lined up to cheer them on. That is the kind of turnout that reminds everybody why Atlanta Pride holds such a special place in this city, and why Sunday truly lived up to that “Louder & Prouder” name.

The entertainment kept that same energy going into the night. The Starlight Cabaret, featuring Shea Couleé, hit the stage at 7:15 PM, giving the crowd a show to remember. Then it was time for the headliner everybody was waiting for. JT closed out the Coca-Cola Main Stage at 9:40 PM, shutting down Atlanta Pride 2026 and sending that packed-out Piedmont Park crowd home on a high. After a storm tried to steal Saturday, Sunday answered loud, proud, and unforgettable.
