Karlie Redd is not mincing words! The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star sat down with FreddyO and spilled all the tea, revealing that she has called off her marriage plans, landed a new job, and even made peace with Althea Heart. If you know Karlie, you know her love life has played out like a movie right in front of our eyes, so this update has everybody talking. Press play and hear it straight from Karlie herself.
Fans watched Karlie get engaged to Arkansas Mo last summer in a moment that had the whole A buzzing, with the ring, the romance and talk of a big wedding to come. But as season eight of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta unfolds on VH1, it is clear that not everything behind the scenes was as picture perfect as it looked on camera. Karlie says she had to do what was best for her heart, her peace and her future, and she is standing ten toes down in that decision.
The good news is Karlie is not slowing down one bit. The Trinidadian beauty is focused on her bag, teasing a brand new job and her business moves in Atlanta, proving once again that she is much more than reality TV drama. And in the biggest surprise of all, she reveals she and Althea Heart have finally squashed their longtime beef. These two have a history full of shade and showdowns, so a truce was the last thing anybody expected, but growth looks good on both of them.
Salute to Karlie for keeping it real with FreddyO, as always. Life, love, new money and new beginnings, she is writing her next chapter her way. Check out the interview, then let us know in the comments: are you surprised Karlie called it off, and are you here for this Karlie and Althea makeup?
