Talk is cheap, and Peter Gunz and Cisco Rosado have done enough talking! The Love & Hip Hop: New York stars took their long-running beef out of the reunion chairs and into a boxing ring, lacing up the gloves for a celebrity boxing fight the whole culture is buzzing about. No producers and no security jumping in between them this time — just two men, one ring and years of disrespect to settle. FreddyO has the video, and trust us, they were swinging like they meant every punch.
Everybody who watched these two knows this fight was years in the making. Peter Gunz, the Bronx rapper behind the classic “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby),” became reality TV royalty off his messy love life with Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly. Cisco Rosado, the Harlem producer and fellow Creep Squad member, went from Peter’s brother in the crew to one of his loudest rivals, and their friendship falling apart played out for the whole world to see on Love & Hip Hop. When two egos like that keep colliding at parties, reunions and on social media, something has to give.
Celebrity boxing is having a real moment right now, with reality stars and internet personalities stepping between the ropes to handle their business the old-fashioned way. Say what you want about these two, but Peter and Cisco actually showed up, trained, weighed in and fought in front of everybody. That takes heart, especially when the whole internet is waiting to turn your worst round into a meme by morning.
Press play and watch Peter Gunz and Cisco Rosado go at it, then hit the comments and tell us who you had winning this one. Win, lose or draw, the Creep Squad gave the people a show!
