The Bentley saga is back. In a recent conversation with Yung Miami, Quavo explained why he took back the white Bentley he gave Saweetie, saying that when God tells you to get something back, you go get it.
Saweetie heard about it. TMZ caught up with her at LAX, and she said she was surprised people were still talking about the car. She added that she was happy he found God and left it right there.
For anybody who missed the backstory: Quavo gifted Saweetie a white Bentley Continental for Christmas 2020, complete with snowflake details and “Icy” stitched into the headrests. The couple split by March 2021, the car went back to Quavo, and that June it showed up for sale at a luxury dealership.
Saweetie moved on just fine. In 2022 she said on Caresha Please that she bought herself a Rolls-Royce.
Was Quavo wrong for taking the car back, or is a gift only a gift while you’re together?
