Fashion’s biggest night delivered a moment for the culture!
Claire Sulmers — the Fashion Bomb Daily founder fashion calls the Black Anna Wintour — linked up with R&B royalty Brandy and Monica, image architect Law Roach and designer Sergio Hudson at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, held Monday night (Nov. 2) at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and hosted by Keke Palmer.
The looks did NOT come to play: Brandy went blonde in a crisp Sergio Hudson white button-down and black fringe mini, Monica shut it down in flowing olive fringe styled by Law Roach, and Claire served in a black gown with a dramatic white collar — her top from TSMGO Fashion Rental, skirt by Norma Kamali and shoes by Haitian designer SYBG from the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop.
And the host herself made fashion history: Keke Palmer hit the carpet in a one-of-a-kind vintage Bob Mackie couture gown — the same beaded masterpiece Raquel Welch wore on Cher’s show back in 1975 — a museum-quality piece that had never been on the market, worn in tribute following the legendary designer’s recent passing.

Claire’s full night — including time with designer LaQuan Smith — is all in her post above. Swipe through it all!
And because one fashion moment is never enough: Teyana Taylor shut down the ‘All’s Fair’ season 2 premiere in New York, hitting the carpet in a black tuxedo look that had everybody talking.
