Kelly Rowland just gave the most Kelly Rowland answer EVER — and Destiny’s Child fans are in their feelings all over again!
On the red carpet at a Hollywood gala, Kelly was asked the question the whole internet wants answered: will Destiny’s Child reunite on stage during Jay-Z’s Super Bowl halftime show next February?
Her response? Five little words, delivered with a smile: “That’s none of my business.”
Pressed further, she doubled down: “That’s his performance. That’s none of my business.”
Now, to be clear — Kelly didn’t say no. She didn’t say yes either. She left the whole thing sitting squarely in Jay-Z’s lap, and honestly? That might be the smartest play of all.
The reunion talk is LOUD right now because Kelly, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams were just spotted together at Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert at SoFi Stadium on October 23. But Kelly says that night was about family, not business: “We were there for our big brother. Bey’s there for her man.” And she had nothing but love for the show itself: “He put on a hell of a show… the energy in there was just palpable.”
The trio has a habit of popping out when it matters most — the 2013 Super Bowl, Coachella in 2018, and the final Cowboy Carter stop in Las Vegas last year. So when Jay-Z takes over the Super Bowl LXI halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium, all eyes will be watching for three silhouettes to rise out of that stage.
Until then, Kelly’s lips are sealed — and “that’s none of my business” is officially the answer of the year.
