Avery Wilson Live ‘Can We Talk’

Whew, somebody come listen to this boy sing! Avery Wilson took on a sacred R&B classic, Tevin Campbell’s ‘Can We Talk,’ live, and FreddyO has the footage that will give you chills. No studio tricks, no safety net, just a microphone and a voice that seems to have no ceiling. From the first run to the final high note, Avery sang like he had something to prove.

The world first met Avery when he lit up The Voice stage as a teenager back in 2012, and the voice has only gotten more dangerous since. T.I. and Tiny Harris celebrated their daughter Deyjah Harris in a big way for her 18th birthday, and FreddyO was on hand as family and friends came together to honor the birthday girl. Tip could not hide his pride as his oldest daughter — the first Harris baby the world watched grow up — officially stepped into adulthood surrounded by the people who love her most.

Eighteen is only the latest milestone in a big year for Deyjah. She graduated from high school this spring, and the family has had plenty to celebrate ever since. Fans of T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle know Deyjah as the thoughtful, soft-spoken one of the bunch — an old soul who would rather write and reflect than chase the spotlight — which made seeing her shine at her own party, with all eyes happily on her, even sweeter.

Of course, the whole Harris crew showed up and showed out for their sister and daughter — Zonnique, Messiah, Domani, King, Major and little Heiress are never far when the family has something to celebrate, and Grandma and the extended family were right there too. Between the music, the laughter and the proud-parent moments from Tip and Tiny, the night was a perfect snapshot of what this family is all about.

Keke Wyatt and her baby girl stole the whole show at Tiny’s Mother-Daughter Brunch, sitting side by side and singing the ABCs together like only a mama and her mini-me can. In a room full of Atlanta’s finest mothers and daughters, it was this simple, pure moment that had everybody smiling, clapping along and reaching for their phones. Everybody already knows Keke Wyatt has one of the most powerful voices in R&B, period. From her early hits to her show-stopping live performances and her time on R&B Divas: Atlanta, the woman can sing anything. But there is something different about hearing that big voice slow down and get soft for a nursery classic with her daughter. Her little one was right there with her, letter for letter, and you can see the pride all over Keke’s face in every second of this clip.

The brunch itself was a beautiful celebration of motherhood, hosted by Tameka “Tiny” Harris, bringing together celebrity moms and their daughters for a day of love, laughter and bonding.
