Spice explains what really happen with her and Erica Mena lahh

The Love & Hip Hop streets are talking! Everybody has been asking what really went down between Spice and Erica Mena, and now the Queen of Dancehall is telling her side herself. In this video Spice explains what really happened with her and Erica, in her own words, and she is not holding back one bit. FreddyO has the clip that fans of the show need to see before the new season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta takes over everybody’s timelines.

Just so we are clear: Spice has been that girl long before reality TV. The dancehall star out of Jamaica ran the charts with hits like “So Mi Like It,” joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and instantly became one of the show’s biggest personalities, balancing music, business and motherhood in front of the world. Erica Mena is no stranger to this franchise either, coming from Love & Hip Hop: New York with a reputation for speaking her mind and never backing down from a confrontation. Put those two strong personalities in the same circle and sparks were always going to fly.

That is exactly why Spice is setting the record straight now. When stories start moving from blogs to group chats, everybody becomes an insider, and she clearly feels the version floating around is not the real one. Hearing it directly from her — how it started, what was said and where they stand now — is the only way to get it, and her passion in this clip tells you she means every word of it.

Press play and hear Spice out, then let us know in the comments whose side you are on. This story is far from over, and FreddyO.com will be watching right along with you!

  • Brandon Sings “Total Praise” Taco Tuesday 2022
    ,

Brandon Sings “Total Praise” Taco Tuesday 2022

Taco Tuesday in Atlanta has never been just about the tacos. FreddyO’s Taco Tuesday is where good food, good people, and real live music share the same room — and on this night, Brandon stepped up to the microphone and turned a Tuesday into a full worship moment, taking the whole room to church with a powerful run through Total Praise.

Total Praise is one of those songs every gospel singer measures themselves against. Richard Smallwood’s modern classic asks for range, control, and — most of all — conviction, and Brandon gave it all three. He did not rush it. He let the song build the way it is supposed to build, verse into that soaring climb, until hands were up all over the room and Taco Tuesday felt like Sunday morning. That is not background music. That is a testimony with a melody on it.

That is exactly what has made Taco Tuesday one of Atlanta’s favorite weekly rooms. On any given Tuesday you might catch a gospel legend, an R and B favorite, or a hungry young singer like Brandon getting the chance to carry a classic in front of a crowd that truly knows music. The plates keep coming, the band stays ready, and the spirit in the room does the rest — fellowship first, and the music always rises to the occasion.

Press play above and watch Brandon sing Total Praise the way it is meant to be sung — all heart, no shortcuts — then keep scrolling for more FreddyO exclusives from Taco Tuesday. Who else needs to pull up and bless this stage? Talk to us in the comments.

  • RHOA Drew Sidora First Live Performance New Song “Already Know”
    ,

RHOA Drew Sidora First Live Performance New Song “Already Know”

Drew Sidora is not playing with y’all! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star stepped off the reality TV screen and onto the stage for her very first live performance of her new song, “Already Know,” and FreddyO was front and center to catch the whole thing.

Atlanta has watched Drew act, sing and hold her own peach for three seasons now, but this is a different side of her. “Already Know” is a grown-woman R&B record, and performing it live for the first time — no edits, no second takes — Drew showed the room that the music is not a hobby for her. She has been singing since she was a little girl in Chicago, and that training came all the way out on that stage.

The timing is perfect. RHOA just wrapped another messy, must-see season, and with the cameras getting ready to roll again, everybody is watching to see what each lady does next. For Drew, the answer is clear: she is betting on herself and her voice. Between the show, her family and now a real push with her music, she is making sure her name rings bells far beyond Bravo.

Press play and watch Drew’s first live performance of “Already Know” right here, exclusively on FreddyO. Tell me in the comments: are you feeling Drew Sidora the artist? Because after this, she is about to make a lot of believers.

  • Bryshere Gray responds to TMZ reporters of him being arrested

Bryshere Gray responds to TMZ reporters of him being arrested

Empire fans, this one is tough to see. Bryshere Gray, the actor and rapper the world met as Hakeem Lyon, is speaking out after headlines about his arrest started making the rounds. TMZ reporters caught up with the star and asked him directly about being arrested, and instead of running from the cameras, Bryshere stopped and responded on the spot. FreddyO has the video, and his calm, unbothered energy is what everybody is talking about right now.

It is a long way from the Lyon family throne. Bryshere shot to fame in 2015 when Empire became the biggest show on television, with Hakeem’s music, attitude and family drama making him a fan favorite and landing him on red carpets and award shows everywhere. Since the show ended in 2020, he has been working to build his own lane in music and acting, but headlines like these keep his name in the blogs for reasons that have nothing to do with his talent.

That is exactly why moments like this matter. When a story about an arrest breaks online, the headline usually travels faster than the facts, and celebrities rarely get to say a word for themselves. Here, Bryshere faces the questions head-on, in his own voice, and lets people judge his energy for themselves instead of going off somebody else’s version of what happened. Fans are flooding the comments with support and hoping this young brother gets everything back on track.

Press play and watch Bryshere respond for yourself, then tell us in the comments: should the public let him tell his side before passing judgment? FreddyO.com is sending him strength and will keep you posted as this story develops.

  • KeKe Wyatt Teaches NeNe Leakes To Sing
    ,

KeKe Wyatt Teaches NeNe Leakes To Sing

Class was in session at The Linethia Lounge, and the teacher was none other than powerhouse vocalist KeKe Wyatt — with reality TV queen NeNe Leakes as her student. During KeKe’s set at NeNe’s brand new Atlanta lounge, the singer decided to give her friend a proper singing lesson right there on stage, and FreddyO was in the room for every note and every laugh.

Now, if you are going to learn from somebody, KeKe is the one. The Indianapolis-bred, church-raised singer has been wowing audiences since “Nothing In This World” and “My First Love,” and her runs can still stop a room cold. Watching her coach NeNe through the notes — part vocal lesson, part comedy show — is pure gold. And give NeNe her credit: the original Atlanta Housewife was a good sport, microphone in hand, giving it her all while the crowd cheered her on.

The setting makes it even better. NeNe opened The Linethia Lounge at Atlantic Station this spring, her latest business move since stepping away from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and the spot has quickly become a go-to for dinner, live music and a grown-and-sexy good time. Having a voice like KeKe Wyatt’s blessing the stage is exactly what the lounge is all about.

Between KeKe’s surprise performances at NeNe’s birthdays over the years and this little master class at the lounge, these two clearly love each other’s company — and we love watching it. Press play and enjoy, and tell us the truth: did NeNe pass her singing lesson, or does she need to come back for part two?

  • Peter Gunz vs Cisco Rosado boxing fight

Peter Gunz vs Cisco Rosado boxing fight

Talk is cheap, and Peter Gunz and Cisco Rosado have done enough talking! The Love & Hip Hop: New York stars took their long-running beef out of the reunion chairs and into a boxing ring, lacing up the gloves for a celebrity boxing fight the whole culture is buzzing about. No producers and no security jumping in between them this time — just two men, one ring and years of disrespect to settle. FreddyO has the video, and trust us, they were swinging like they meant every punch.

Everybody who watched these two knows this fight was years in the making. Peter Gunz, the Bronx rapper behind the classic “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby),” became reality TV royalty off his messy love life with Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly. Cisco Rosado, the Harlem producer and fellow Creep Squad member, went from Peter’s brother in the crew to one of his loudest rivals, and their friendship falling apart played out for the whole world to see on Love & Hip Hop. When two egos like that keep colliding at parties, reunions and on social media, something has to give.

Celebrity boxing is having a real moment right now, with reality stars and internet personalities stepping between the ropes to handle their business the old-fashioned way. Say what you want about these two, but Peter and Cisco actually showed up, trained, weighed in and fought in front of everybody. That takes heart, especially when the whole internet is waiting to turn your worst round into a meme by morning.

Press play and watch Peter Gunz and Cisco Rosado go at it, then hit the comments and tell us who you had winning this one. Win, lose or draw, the Creep Squad gave the people a show!

  • BET new movie OPEN recap
    ,

    BET new movie OPEN recap

BET just gave everybody something to talk about. The network’s new movie Open has arrived, and FreddyO is breaking down the film that has the group chats going crazy. Open follows a married couple who decide to test the one arrangement most couples only joke about, opening up their relationship, and let’s just say the experiment gets messy in all the ways you would expect, plus a few ways you definitely would not.

What makes Open hit home is how real the questions feel. How much freedom is too much freedom inside a marriage? Can jealousy really stay out of it once real feelings get involved? The movie plays like a grown-folks conversation starter, the kind BET has been leaning all the way into with its original films, mixing romance, drama and just enough scandal to keep the timelines busy all weekend long. Whether you are team monogamy forever or just here for the mess, this one gives you plenty to debate.

BET keeps carving out its own lane with original movies made for us and by us, and Open fits right into the run the network has been on. It is sexy, it is dramatic, and it never pretends that love and commitment are simple. If you missed the premiere, catch the encore and get caught up fast, because the timeline is not done arguing about this one yet, and honestly, neither are we.

Press play for our full recap, then sound off in the comments: could you ever be in an open relationship, or is that a hard no for you and yours?

  • Lil Baby Makes Fans Go Crazy at the Mall
    ,

Lil Baby Makes Fans Go Crazy at the Mall

Lil Baby can not even go to the mall in peace — and Atlanta would not have it any other way.

FreddyO was on the scene at Lenox Mall as the rap superstar pulled up for an event with Pure Atlanta, and the moment he stepped out, it was pandemonium. Fans swarmed, phones went up, and the screaming could probably be heard all the way down Peachtree.

The 4PF boss came bearing gifts, handing out T-shirts to the crowd — but things quickly went left when everybody decided they needed one. What started as a generous giveaway turned into a full-on frenzy, with fans pushing and shoving to get their hands on a piece of Lil Baby history.

And honestly, can you blame them? Closing out 2019, Lil Baby is one of the hottest rappers on the planet. After the Grammy-nominated “Drip Too Hard” with Gunna and a string of chart smashes including his latest single “Woah,” the Atlanta native is gearing up to drop his sophomore album My Turn in the new year — and the whole industry is watching.

From Young Thug’s birthday bashes to headlining concerts with 21 Savage and the City Girls, the ATL rap scene is having a moment — and Lil Baby is leading the charge. Watch the madness unfold above.

  • Worlds best Keylime cake

    Worlds best Keylime cake

If you have a sweet tooth, Atlanta, this one is calling your name. FreddyO stopped by Red Velvet Mama, one of the city’s favorite cake shops, and the star of the visit was not the red velvet at all — it was a key lime cake so good it earned a bold title: the world’s best.

Key lime is a flavor that does not play around. It has to be tart but not sour, sweet but not heavy, and the cake itself has to stay moist enough to carry all that citrus. One bite in and you understand the hype — bright, creamy frosting, soft layers, and that little zing that keeps you going back for another forkful long after you said you were done.

Red Velvet Mama has built its name in Atlanta on doing classic Southern baking with love, from cupcakes stacked in the case to cakes made for celebrations big and small. Spots like this are the heartbeat of the city’s food scene — neighborhood bakeries where the recipes taste like somebody’s grandmother is still watching over the kitchen.

Press play above and take the tour with us, then tell us in the comments — are you team key lime, team red velvet, or team peach cobbler? And if you think another bakery can top this cake, name the spot. We just might pull up and put it to the test.
