When Gucci Mane’s wife steps out, she does not do anything small.

Keyshia has built a whole empire on standing out. Between her Ka’oir Cosmetics line, her fitness brand, and a wardrobe that has made her one of the most photographed women in hip hop, everything she does is a statement. And the love story behind the ice is just as famous — Keyshia held Gucci down through his hardest years, he came home in 2016 a new man, and last October the two of them got married in one of the most lavish weddings Atlanta has ever seen. This jewelry flex is just the latest chapter.

The hair show is one of the biggest beauty weekends in the country, and everybody who is anybody in Black beauty is in the building, so you already know Keyshia came to win. Kandi Burruss knows how to throw a party, and when it came time to celebrate her husband Todd Tucker turning 45, she went all out. Kandi hosted an epic ‘Jerseys and Jordans’ birthday bash for Todd, and FreddyO was in the building for every minute of it. The theme said it all — everybody pulled up rocking their favorite team jerseys with fresh Jordans on their feet, turning a birthday party into a full display of Atlanta style. Todd was all smiles as his wife, his family and his famous friends filled the room to show the birthday boy some love.

The night had big Atlanta energy from start to finish. Kandi’s Xscape sisters came through to celebrate, the music kept the room moving, and Kandi herself even took it back to the old school, reminding everybody that before the restaurants, the Broadway stage and the Real Housewives, she was — and still is — that girl with the pen and the voice. Between the dancing, the laughter and the nonstop photos, the party felt less like an industry event and more like a family reunion, which is exactly how Kandi and Todd like it.

Between Old Lady Gang, their growing business empire and raising their son Ace, Kandi and Todd have a whole lot to celebrate these days, and 45 looks good on Todd. Watching Kandi make sure every detail of her husband’s night was perfect — the theme, the guest list, the vibe — is just another reminder of why these two are one of Atlanta’s favorite couples. 21 Savage Talks Back to School Drive, Shooting & Giving To Kids

21 Savage spent the day giving back to the neighborhood that raised him, hosting the third edition of his Issa Back To School Drive here in Atlanta. FreddyO was on site as families from across the community came out to get their children ready for the new school year, with the rapper front and center, meeting kids and their parents from start to finish.

Students received backpacks filled with school supplies and other essentials for the first day of class, and the day also included food, activities and time with the artists who came out to support the event. The drive has grown each year since 21 Savage started it in the Zone 6 community on Atlanta’s Eastside where he grew up, and this year’s turnout showed just how much local families count on it.

Speaking with FreddyO, 21 talked about the drive, about giving to kids, and about his own story. He has spoken openly in interviews about surviving a shooting on his 21st birthday in 2013, an experience he has said changed his outlook on life. On this day, his focus stayed on the young people in front of him — making sure they start the school year prepared, confident and knowing that somebody from their own neighborhood believes in them.

Only in Atlanta! The exotic bulldog world took over the city this weekend for the $ Million Dollar Dogs exotic bulldog show, hosted by T.E.B.A. with singer Mya, and FreddyO was on the scene. Breeders, owners and dog lovers came from everywhere to show off some of the most beautiful, and most valuable, bullies you have ever seen.

If you are new to the exotic bully world, these are not your average dogs. Top exotic bulldogs are bred for their compact frames, big heads and rare colors, and the best of the best can sell for tens of thousands of dollars, with some bloodlines valued far beyond that. That is why they call them million dollar dogs: the breeding game at this level is serious business, and shows like this one are where the next superstar studs get discovered.

Mya, a dog lover herself, helped host the day as kennels showed their studs and pups in the ring, trophies were handed out, and owners networked with breeders who traveled in from across the country. The Atlanta stop drew a big crowd, with everybody wanting a look at the exotic colors and structures that have made these dogs famous all over social media.

FreddyO was on the scene as Shamea Morton and her husband Gerald Mwangi hosted a fabulous gender reveal party in Atlanta — and the guest list was pure Real Housewives of Atlanta royalty. Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey all came through to support Shamea as she revealed whether baby Mwangi will be a boy or a girl.

Shamea, a longtime friend of the show and a fan favorite, announced her pregnancy earlier this year, and the mommy-to-be was glowing as friends and family showered her with love. The party was decked out, the energy was high, and the big reveal did not disappoint.

With a new season of RHOA on the horizon, the ladies are clearly keeping their sisterhood strong off-camera too. From Kandi’s warm hugs to Porsha’s big laughs to Cynthia’s model poses, this was a night of pure joy — Atlanta style.
